DMHA Honored for Green New Construction

Congratulations to the DMHA team and everyone involved in the recently completed 155,000 SF Direct Relief Headquarters project! The Central Coast Green Building Council awarded the Direct Relief project with the HONOR AWARD for Green New Construction.

The council awarded various projects and individuals for their efforts related to sustainable excellence. DMHA was honored to have Direct Relief included among the award-winning projects. This recognition is a significant achievement culminating a 5 year team effort.

"We feel extremely blessed to be part of the client's consulting team realizing their vision for a new state-of-the-art facility that is helping to serve those in need of disaster assistance around the world," said principal architect Michael Holliday.

Local project team members include CJM:LA Landscape, TRYON Project Management, Stantec Consulting Services, ARCO Design + Build, ATI Architects + Engineers, and SEPPS Land Planning.

Congratulations to our own principal architect, Michael Holliday FAIA, who was the recipient of the Pioneer in Green Building Honorable Merit Award! Michael is whole-heartedly passionate about setting standards for green design construction and inspiring the next generation to do the same.
